Wuhan’s "Xinzhou-made" rocket successfully launched "four consecutive launches" in 95 days. China Xinggu builds the third pole of China’s aerospace industry
"Xinzhou-made" rocket
Rockets are used as pens, and the sky is used as paper. In 95 days, the Wuhan "Xinzhou" rocket drew a beautiful arc in space four times in a row.
At 6:55 on September 25, 2022, the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center successfully launched the Experimental No. 14 and Experimental No. 15 satellites into the air using the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket, "One Arrow Double Star", and the satellites entered the predetermined orbit smoothly. The Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket carrying out the launch mission is the "Xinzhou-made" rocket located in Xinzhou Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base (China Xinggu). This is the 18th flight of the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket and the fourth launch mission of this type of rocket in 2022.
Jiuquan on June 22, Xichang on August 23, Jiuquan on September 6, and Taiyuan on September 25. In just 95 days, the "Xinzhou-made" Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket successfully carried out 4 launch missions in 3 places, achieving a "95-day four-game winning streak".
"After the’four consecutive launches’, there are still many rockets ready to be launched in the rocket industry park, and they are expected to be launched before the end of the year," said the head of the work special class of Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base in Xinzhou District (hereinafter referred to as the "aerospace special class").
It is reported that since the Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base was officially built in Xinzhou in 2017, China Xinggu has started the "aerospace speed" to the "third pole of China’s aerospace" on the new track of commercial aerospace. In January 2020, the Rocket Industrial Park was built into the first modern industrial park in China with an annual output of 20 rockets for final assembly and testing.
On May 13, 2021, Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base Satellite Industrial Park opened, our country’s first small satellite intelligent production line was unveiled, and the first "Wuhan-made" satellite was officially launched. It is understood that the satellite industrial park has the ability to produce 240 small satellites per year. "This marks the arrival of the era of mass production of satellites in our country. The dream of’intelligently building ‘satellites like cars has come to life." The person in charge of the aerospace special class introduced.
The construction of another main industrial park in Xinggu, the electromagnetic protective materials industrial park, has also pressed the "shortcut". Last year, the partial assembly line was put into trial operation; this year, the final assembly line was officially put into operation. The electromagnetic protective materials produced in this industrial park can ensure that rockets are not disturbed by external electromagnetic signals during launch and satellites in space, and put on "protective covers" for rockets and satellites traveling in space.
Not long ago, the Xingyun project, a space-based Internet of Things constellation in our country led by Aerospace Science and Industry Space Engineering Company (the operator of the Satellite Industrial Park), is currently progressing smoothly and is expected to achieve small-scale networking in the near future. It is understood that after the Xingyun project realizes small-scale networking, the system will begin to promote the application of more than 10 key industries including containers, oceans, land disasters, meteorology, environmental protection, electric power, agriculture, emergency response, logistics, water conservancy, etc., to realize the leap from "trial" to "practical" of the Xingyun satellite system. In the future, Xingyun Project will complete a space-based Internet of Things constellation composed of more than 100 low-orbit communications satellites to realize the interconnection of everything on a global scale.
China Xinggu is building an "aerospace ecosystem" around the commercial aerospace sector. At present, China Xinggu is stepping up the construction of "four gardens and one center", namely to build an aerospace new material industrial park, a green ship manufacturing industrial park, an aerospace electronics industrial park, an aerospace information industrial park and an aerospace big data science and technology innovation center.
"The construction of’Four Parks and One Center ‘will further improve China’s Xinggu’aerospace ecosystem’ and promote China’s Xinggu to accelerate its station at the third pole of China’s aerospace." The person in charge of the aerospace special class said. (Text/Cheng Shuxiong, Liu Hui, Photo/Wu Yi, Ye Donghui, Tang Shi)
