"Not only physical and chemical indicators, but also biological effects should be observed to further judge the stability and sustainability of Taihu Lake ecosystem." Jiang Wei said that the aquatic biodiversity index of Taihu Lake Basin reached 3.08 last year, which was upgraded from "good" to "excellent".
