According to incomplete statistics, the three telecom operators have built nearly 200 5G base stations in 19 cities and counties in Hainan, and are still pushing forward the related construction work.

　　On the morning of the same day, in a China telecom business hall in Haikou, Wang Jianhai, a citizen who bought a 5G mobile phone, became the first telecom 5G experience user in Hainan. He said that he has been waiting for a 5G mobile phone for at least half a year. Compared with 4G, 5G has greatly improved on the Internet and will have a good experience in watching movies and playing games. "Whenever something new comes out, I want to be the first to try and experience."

　　According to the information recently disclosed by the Hainan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Hainan Telecom’s 5G demonstration network project has been steadily advanced. By the end of June this year, 24 5G base stations have been opened. On July 24th this year, China Telecom opened 5G base stations in Yongshu Reef and Yongxing Island.

　　Up to now, Hainan Mobile has completed the layout of hundreds of 5G sites and achieved 5G coverage of Nansha Islands. More than 800 5G base stations will be built in Hainan Island this year; Hainan Unicom has completed the opening of 48 5G mobile network sites in 19 cities and counties in the province.

　　Hainan Telecom and Hainan Mobile also provided 5G cloud VR, 5G cloud games, 5G HD video and other application experiences at the experience site, so that users can feel the wonders of 5G networks in the first time.

　　Chen Jianyang, general manager of China Telecom Haikou Branch, said that in the near future, Telecom will speed up the construction of 5G experience zones in business halls of cities and counties in the province, and gradually open core business halls around the province to give customers a taste of 5G mobile phones and 5G networks.

Hainan Mobile will accelerate the development of 5G, help industrial upgrading and high-quality economic development, and provide people with more exciting and better information services.

　　It is understood that at present, all three operators provide 100GB of 5G experience traffic packages for 5G experience users every month, which can be used until the end of September this year. After the 5G network is officially commercialized, the 5G service plan and package will be announced separately.
