Hungarian Prime Minister: EU leaders want to subvert my government.

Manfred Weber, Chairman of the European People’s Party Group of the European Parliament, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, posted on social media on October 9 to talk about the Hungarian political situation. Weber even directly called Hungarian Prime Minister Orban "a thing of the past", while Hungarian opposition leader Peter magyar and his party "are the future". On October 11th, Orban pointed out in an interview that Weber and Ursula von der Leyen were "openly expressing their intention to subvert the current Hungarian government". Orban said that although he had long felt that the two men "had this idea", it was "unusual" to make such a public statement.

On the day of Weber and Ursula von der Leyen’s posting, Orban made a speech in the European Parliament, pointing out that the EU is currently facing many problems such as competitiveness and illegal immigration, and refuted Ursula von der Leyen’s accusations against the Hungarian government on the spot.
