As a worker in shipbuilding industry, I am determined to make extraordinary achievements in ordinary posts. At the beginning of the 21st century, the company started to develop a liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship, which is known as one of the three pearls in the world shipbuilding crown. Among them, the most difficult construction is the cabin insulation layer loaded with liquid natural gas at MINUS 163℃-liquid cargo enclosure system. The inner wall of the insulation layer, which is only 0.7 mm thick and as thin as a piece of paper, is welded with invar steel, which requires the world’s top welder. In order to build Chinese’s own LNG ship, it only took me four weeks to obtain the internationally authoritative G certificate of Yinwa Welding, and I became the first person in Yinwa Welding in China. After four years of hard work, the first domestic LNG ship in China, Dapeng Hao, was built.

As a shipbuilding worker, I am proud of the rise of China LNG equipment industry in our hands. I have formed more than 60 independent process specifications and completed 13 invention patents. I have trained more than 1,000 Yinwa welders, including 2 Shanghai craftsmen and 34 ship craftsmen. The most outstanding one is Zhang Dongwei, a great country craftsman.   After kidney transplantation on April 2, Dai Junfu returned home to recuperate, and his wife Zhou Liqun has been taking care of her daughter Dai Rui in the hospital.   In 2010, Dai Rui was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus. Dai Junfu looked around for remedies for this. He was cheated of thousands of money, but his condition did not improve. He finally realized that he had to be treated honestly in the hospital.

  In 2013, Dai Rui’s condition deteriorated into uremia. After talking to the doctor, Dai Junfu was very blocked and didn’t know how to speak.
