Cinnamomum camphora is the most important characteristic advantage industry in Xuzhou District of Yibin City.
There is a long history of Cinnamomum camphora planting in Xuzhou District. There are 370,000 mu of Cinnamomum camphora bases, with an annual output of more than 10,000 tons of Cinnamomum camphora oil, accounting for 70% of the country’s total, and it has the reputation of "Zhanghai in the world".
However, the development of Cinnamomum camphora industry in Syria is not smooth sailing. According to the reporter’s understanding, the development of Cinnamomum camphora industrial chain is not complete, especially the lack of terminal industries, the low level of management and protection of Cinnamomum camphora planting, and the low oil yield have become bottlenecks for further industrial upgrading.
Jing Hong, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Xuzhou District Committee, told the reporter that in order to help the further development of the oil camphor industry in Xuzhou, the United Front Work Department of the Xuzhou District Committee implemented the "Concentric Helping the Bohai Sea" project and set up a think tank of Bohai science and technology experts represented by Wei Qin. "We bring together non-party experts to build a platform, provide convenient conditions and services for them to carry out research."
The team of experts has rich scientific research achievements. The research report "Growth Characteristics of Cinnamomum camphora Plantation in Yibin" provides a scientific theoretical basis for the improvement of Cinnamomum camphora planting. By changing the traditional planting method of Cinnamomum camphora, the oil yield is increased by 10%. The team of experts also took the lead in establishing the first pilot extraction point of high-efficiency extraction of crude oil from Cinnamomum camphora and production of biomass fuel from Cinnamomum camphora leaf residue in Xuzhou District, realizing the market-oriented application of research on planting edible fungi from Cinnamomum camphora leaf residue.

Choose Jiaguan Town, because it is the most remote town in Qionglai, and its development needs are urgent. Another reason is that there are many rural talents gathered here.
